A biker short is judged at the hem. A short that rides up on a walk is a short you tug at all day, and the answer is a knit that grips the thigh and a length that gives it enough to grip. The Ewedoos pair comes in two: a 5-inch inseam for a run in August, and an 8-inch that sits at mid-thigh for a class or a bike ride. Both have the wide tummy-control waistband, two side pockets deep enough for a phone, and on the three-pocket pair a third in the band. The newer four-pocket pair drops the seam down the front.

The padded cycling short is a different garment that shares the name. A 4D chamois is sewn into the seat for a saddle, the hem carries silicone grips so it stays down on a descent, and the phone goes into a pocket at the back of the waistband with a flap and a strip of hook-and-loop, because a phone that falls out at speed is gone. It is the pair for a road or a spin bike, and the wrong one for a walk. The scrunch pair is the biker short with a gathered seam at the back for the shape of it.

Every colorway here is priced on its own; the Ewedoos selection keeps the figures current and the till is what decides.

Questions about Ewedoos Biker Shorts

The legging, cut at the thigh

Do Ewedoos biker shorts roll down at the waist?

The wide waistband is built not to: two layers of knit with elastic between them, high enough to sit at the natural waist and hold there through a squat. A pair ordered a size too small rolls before a pair in the right size, which is the argument for taking the larger of two.

Which inseam should you order in Ewedoos biker shorts?

The 5-inch for a run in the heat and for a shorter frame. The 8-inch for a class, a bike, or anyone whose thighs touch and would rather the knit did the touching. The card prints the inseam, and the waist and the pockets are the same on both.

Where does the phone go in the Ewedoos padded cycling short?

In the pocket at the back of the waistband, under a flap that closes with hook-and-loop. Side pockets on a cycling short would put a phone against the saddle, so the padded pair has none. The plain biker shorts have two.
